💡 Philipina's Notes for You
🍷Franschhoek dress code is smart casual — no need for a jacket but avoid beachwear. The cellar ambience is relaxed and excellent.
🐧Boulders Beach penguins are best photographed in the morning before 11 AM when light is soft and crowds thin. You'll drive past on the peninsula day.
🌬The Cape Doctor (SE wind) often kicks up in April afternoons — the whale watching tour departs at 08:00 intentionally to catch calmer morning seas.
💵Tipping: 10–15% at restaurants is standard. At the hotel, ZAR 20–50 per service is appreciated. Sipho will appreciate ZAR 100–150 per transfer.
📱I'm on WhatsApp throughout your trip. Text me for anything — restaurant changes, extra bookings, or if any logistics need adjusting on the ground.
